Our events are designed to encourage women of all ages and seasons of life to deepen and strengthen their relationships with God. Fellowship with other women and outreach to friends and family members are important aspects of every woman’s life.
Mom's Night Out
An escape for moms everywhere!
First Thursday of the month
You're a mom. You're up to your elbows in PB&J, homework, hockey, dance and soccer practices, not to mention the daily chores for which you are responsible. In the midst of that comes the silver lining: “Mom’s Night Out.” Mom’s Night Out is simply that, a night out for moms! It's a fun, relaxed event that happens the 2nd Monday night of each month. In a world that tries its best to isolate us and keep us busy, it is important to develop strong friendships with other Christian women, and also provide an opportunity to reach out to women who may not be connected.
We will be doing different things each month: dinner, movies, walks, evening hikes, game nights, getting ice cream, bowling, hanging out at a coffee shop, etc. All moms are invited (from those pregnant with #1 all the way to those with grandchildren!) Watch for details in the women’s newsletter email, The Front Porch magazine and online. But feel free to contact us for more details.
By setting a “date” each month, it's easier to plan ahead and let your husband have a special night with the children. Please come and get to know someone new, deepen a friendship, and just have fun!

Mystery Quilters Project
"A work in progress"
January 22-March 11, 2008
Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Room 111/112
Whether you're a brand new quilter or one who's seen a stitch or two in time, this fun 8-week class has opportunities for skill development in quilting and spiritual discoveries alike.
Along the way in our little project, we'll discover how TRUST and quilting are strangely related. Our goal is to have fun and fellowship while we learn a little more about our trust journey through life.
Class runs from January 22-March 11. We meet in room 111/112 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.
The first class on January 22 will be our kick-off with class introductions, and the first mystery clue will be handed out. No supplies are needed for this initial meeting.
To register or for more details, contact Merry Taylor.
Large Events
We plan several special events throughout the year with emphasis on fun, connection, and outreach. Women's events provide the environment for you to invite your friends to join you for a relaxed time of getting together with other women.
Check the women's calendar or bulletin for details on upcoming events.
