In this year of 2009, Pulpit Rock Church is conducting an experiment. The question we want to answer is: What would happen if we, as a church family, committed to memorizing scripture together for a full year? What changes would come about? How would our family grow?

So we have embarked on this journey together. We encourage you to join us by taking a look at the references from God's word below. Our elementary-age kids are memorizing verses too; take a look here.

You may be wondering why we call these "Leader" verses. We were inspired by one of our own, an amazing woman of God named Nancy Leader. Though she passed away in December 2008, the legacy she left was one of a heart filled with God's word. Even in her final days, she was able to recall God's promises through verses she had memorized throughout her life.
