Pastor Search Team Update
From facilitator of the Search Team, David White:
We have now processed 137 candidates' resumes and questionnaires and have identified 25 highly qualified candidates. As we view video sermon samples, we have narrowed the number of continuing candidates down to 16 that still remain active in our search process. We will soon be starting phone interviews with those candidates who pass the sermon sample step.
We are excited about a plan we have to get input from more Pulpit Rock Church members once we get down to the final few candidates. Mark Tuggle will be announcing this plan at Sunday's Family Potluck on August 26. Please continue to join the Search Team in praying Isaiah 30:21 for the remaining process: Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."
