Missions Update: May Meeting
Here’s the latest from PRC’ers involved around the world from our May 1 IMT Meeting.
Lindsey Ferris (OCI) gave a presentation on opportunities to provide hospitality/housing for missionaries here for training.
Abou and Um Fouad gave a presentation on their upcoming work in Europe and North Africa. They have been invited by a NA national leader to start a trade school – initially in the hospitality field, with potential expansion. At the same time, a European country has asked them to revitalize the hotel/restaurant industry to improve tourism. Revenue from the latter project will help subsidize the former; many who have lost jobs, family connections, and resources will be helped. Um hopes to eventually work with women to help start small businesses in the arts, in addition to supporting Abou in his work.
Prayer is needed for their children (ages 23 and 19) who are staying in the U.S. for godly decisions regarding their futures, perseverance, and a close walk with God; and that the national leader would become a believer.
