Worship Service Times Changing

Effective March 4, Pulpit Rock Church Weekend Worship Service schedule will be as follows:

Saturday, No services
Sunday, Main Auditorium, 9:00 and 10:45 a.m.
Sunday, West Campus, 9:00 a.m. (Tribe)
Sunday, West Campus, 10:45 a.m. ("the 605")

The pastors and elders have decided to make this change in response to much input from the church family and a convergence of other factors.

1. A growing desire for more connectedness and less isolation as a church family. This is particularly true regarding bringing our generations together in worship and "hallway time" in between services.

2. A recognition that we do not have critical mass in any of our services. When we added the Saturday night service, we didn't have the other building and we were running out of room in this one. That is no longer the case. Our attendance numbers do not justify sustaining six services.

3. A need to pull together as a church family and simplify our structures to ensure we do a good job of communicating with one another and listening to God together in the midst of our current leadership transition.

4. A recognition that our current structure has put a strain on our staff and volunteers in a variety of arenas that support our weekend services. Changing to only four services, all on Sunday morning, will allow the ministries that support our weekend services to better serve our members and guests alike.

For this change to work, it will require grace, patience and a willingness to sacrifice some of our preferences in order to gain a greater benefit--having our church family more united for worship than we've had in a very long time. Please be in prayer with us for Pulpit Rock Church during this time of transition.
