International Ministry Update
Here is the latest from our PRC Missionaries and others involved around the world from the December 5 International Ministries Team meeting.
Meredith Whitmore - The Navigators
Meredith has spent the last three years in China with ELIC teaching literature. In February she visited the British Navs discovering that they need people with experience with Chinese students since there are many attending their universities. She will go as a student which will give her access to the campus and a natural opportunity with students. She is working on raising $8,000 monthly support and $14,000 for tuition by August of next year.
Earl Minton - India
Earl is taking his 22-year old grandson to India Dec. 26 through Jan. 20. Most of their time will be spent in the northern part of Nagaland with the Phom tribe for whom Earl has been helping raise funds for a new school building. There will be a commissioning for Earl's trip on December 17 at the 8:30 a.m. Sunday service.
Operation Christmas Child
There were over 400 shoeboxes collected at Pulpit Rock Church!
International Ministries Team Fair
The dates are January 27/28 and February 3/4. The fair will be set up in The Gathering Place and provide opportunities for you to learn about mission opportunities "across the street and around the world."
The India Children's Choir will sing in the January 27/28 services. Cathy Hanson, who is working on housing, has nine homes but needs 11. Pastor Steve Aldrich will speak both weekends of the fair.
