Children's Ministry Offering
During regular worship services over Thanksgiving weekend, November 26/27, we took a special over-and-above offering to fully fund our Children’s Ministry for the remainder of the fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). We asked in faith, and you gave generously as in Malachi 3:10: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."
The cost of materials for our 500+ kids is about $900 per week. We have, therefore, set a goal of $25,000 to provide for this vital ministry, regardless of the impact our giving may have on other line items in our budget.
The grand total for our special offering, including some funds that came later in the week was $30,766.83! Over $5,000 of our budgeted goal! We are grateful for your faithfulness to leaving a legacy of faith through our kids at Pulpit Rock Church.
If you were unable to be with us and would still like to contribute, feel free to give your offering this coming weekend. Just be sure to designate your special offering in the memo portion of your check or on an envelope with the words “Thanksgiving Offering.”
