Exciting changes are coming to our Student Ministry Program this Summer!
As you know, we have some incredible small group leader volunteers in our student ministry. We want to take good care of them, and in doing so, we are giving them a much needed break during the summer. So this leaves us with the dilemma of how to pull off two separate student ministry programs without the support of our school-year team.
We have had months of prayer and discussion and brainstorming, both among staff and among our student leadership team, and have landed on a great and exciting idea.
This summer we will be doing a combined High School and Middle School program on Sunday mornings during the second service called FUSION.
We are going to pull together our Middle School and High School Student Leadership teams for this endeavor and are really excited about creating a great, combined, culture this summer.
Summer Fusion will take place on Sundays at 10:30 in the student center in lieu of 128 and Shift Small Groups. This combined program will kick off Sunday June 7 and will run through August when we kick off the school year and go back to our regular school year programs. The program will consist of large group fun and games, worship and teaching.
We are really excited about this and look forward to what God has in store for our ministry this summer!
