Do you love to talk and interact with people? There is nothing better than making people feel at home as they walk into our building. To see a smiling face or a friendly handshake can make all the difference in the world. If you have an outgoing personality and can make people feel welcome, then these opportunities are for you.

Special Events & Weekend Services

Can you give a cheerful "hello" and warm smile? Every week, greeters and ushers are needed to provide information to newcomers, distribute bulletins and collect offerings. Special events include concerts, weddings, funerals, conferences, dramatic productions, etc.

  • Greeting: Greet people as they walk in the door to our building and making them feel warm and welcome.

  • Ushering/Ticket Taking: Direct people where to sit, collect offering, handing out programs, collect tickets, etc.

  • Welcoming/Connecting: Stand in a place (e.g. the Spot) where people feel welcome to talk with you to gather information or be directed to a life group.

  • Serving: Serve meals at any special event or services.

  • Registration: Sit at a registration table to disperse details to or collect information from people interested in certain events.

Church Office

There are opportunities to offer your smiles and service at the reception desk on Sunday mornings or on weekdays. If you can answer the phone, welcome a guest and make copies, we have a place for you! Our pastors can also use help from experienced administrative assistants to plan events and coordinate meetings.
