Pulpit Rock provides numerous opportunities to do God's work through "backstage" ministry. If you prefer to serve unseen, take a look at these opportunities:
Hospitality
The Hospitality Ministry has many opportunities for set up and help in the kitchen. If you'd rather serve behind a stove or sink than stand behind a buffet line, we can place you behind the scenes!
- Food and beverage prepration and set up for ministry events.
- Provide meals for folks who are ill, bed-ridden, have had recent
surgery, etc.

Special Events & Weekend Services
Special events include concerts, weddings, funerals, conferences, dramatic productions, etc. To make weekend worship services and special events successful, it is important to have many "unseen" roles filled. There is a great delight in working behind the scenes and watching a production come to life, knowing that you were an integral part in making that happen.
- Producing:
Insuring that all pieces of the production are on time and ready to go the day of the production. Communicating cues to the sound guy, technician, and all other parties involved.
- Coordinating:
Any parts or all pre-planning of certain events or services.

Communications Team
If you like serving behind the scenes, the Communications Team is a great place to start. We would welcome help in these areas:
- "Informants" to hang posters and stock brochures.
- Bulletin Printers to copy and fold weekly bulletins and inserts.
- Collators to assemble the Front Porch Magazine.

Preschool Care Ministry
The Preschool Care Ministry loves on our preschoolers, parents, adult workers, and ministry partners by:
- Coordinating meals for those who cannot cook for themselves due to illness, accidents, childbirth, etc.
- Providing transportation on a temporary basis.
- Sending birthday, thanks, and "Get Well" cards are welcome no matter who receives them. We make it a priority to send out birthday cards to our preschoolers, adult workers, and volunteers.
- Taking care of single parents' needs.
- Praying for the needs of our church family.
