What is the Bible?
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings; the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of humanity; and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.

Who is the trinity?
We believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is something that is hard to understand, but God is One who exists in a place that is incomprehensible to us as humans in this world.

The Father: We believe in God the Father, an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of humanity, He hears and answers prayer, and He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

The Son, Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross as sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven where, at the right hand of the Father, He now is our high priest and advocate.

More in-depth: Who is Jesus Christ?

The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, equal with the Father and the Son. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age to convict individuals, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living, service and ministry.

What is salvation?
We believe salvation is a free gift of God and is received by each person through faith in Jesus Christ, apart from any human merit, works or ritual. We believe the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only grounds for salvation for all who believe, and only those who receive Jesus Christ through faith are born of the Spirit, become children of God and receive eternal life.

If you do not have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ, why not establish one today? You can pray to Him right now. You do not need any special religious training — just talk to Him like you would a friend.

Is humanity "lost"?
We believe God created men and women in the image of God. We believe every person is a sinner by nature and choice, and is spiritually dead. We also believe those who repent of sin and trust Jesus Christ as savior are regenerated by the Holy Spirit. So there is hope for anyone who will accept Him as the sacrifice for his or her sins and invite Jesus to live in his or her heart.

We also believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead when Eternity comes: of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.

What are spiritual gifts?
“Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.”
1 Corinthians 12:1 (NIV)

A Spiritual Gift is a special ability, given by the Holy Spirit to every believer, to be used to minister to others and to build up the body of Christ.

The Bible does not lock us into tight restrictions as to the number of spiritual gifts or even their definitions. The four major lists of gifts are found in Romans 12:3-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11, 27-31, Ephesians 4:11-12 and 1 Peter 4:9-11 but there are other passages that mention or hint at gifts not included in these lists.

You can take a free Spiritual Gifts Survey at TeamMinistry.com to help you identify your gifts. It only takes about 10 minutes. However, please keep in mind that this is not a science and the identification of your gifts comes through service in the church.

What are the ordinances for? (Baptism & Communion)
Believers' baptism is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ. The immersion into water is symbolic of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. Learn more about Baptism.

Communion, or the Lord's Supper, is a memorial service, showing in a sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. The bread is representative of His body that was broken and the wine is representative of His blood that was shed.

What is the church?
We believe the true Church is composed of all people who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit through saving faith in Jesus Christ and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head.

We believe the ordinances of the local church are believers' baptism and the Lord's Supper. All true believers and only true believers should participate in these ordinances.

Will Christ return?
We believe the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our blessed hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.

What is a Christian's responsibility?
We believe the supreme task of every believer is to glorify God by living in the power of the Holy Spirit and seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Practically, this pursuit includes a commitment to spiritual growth, faithful giving, holy character and personal service.
