Hospitality Ministry

"Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality." Romans 12:13

Whether you would prefer to work behind the scenes or if you love to meet and greet people, you most likely have the spiritual gift of Hospitality or Service. Hospitality is something the whole family can do! Men or women are welcome to participate in this valuable ministry, and older children are also encouraged to help out -- it's a wonderful way to model serving others!

What is the Hospitality Ministry?

We provide the food and beverage service for Pulpit Rock Church. In an average year, over 9,000 specialty coffees are brewed, and we've served thousands of meals.

Serving Opportunities

COFFEE CART
We train our volunteers with barista style coffee preparation. The average commitment is once a month and each team is scheduled on a particular Sunday to help folks get to know one another.

KITCHEN MINISTRY
We provide food and beverage service for ministry events on an as needed basis.

CARE NEEDS
Provide meals on an occasional basis for folks who are ill, bed-ridden or have had recent surgery, etc.

OTHER
There are plenty of opportunities for folks who prefer to help on an as-needed basis – hospitality and food preparation for funerals/memorial services and other ministry events. If you are interested in serving with the Hospitality Ministry, whether it’s greeting, serving, or preparing meals, please contact us!

Please Note: No children under the age of eight are permitted to help in the kitchen. There are lots of places in a commercial kitchen and hot coffee cart areas for little people to get hurt. We do not have child care service available for volunteers involved in Hospitality.
