March 30 –The Passover: Pharaoh says, “Go”

Big Idea: God passed over His people and freed them from slavery in Egypt.

Story Scripture: Exodus 11-12

Bible Verse: “Pharaoh said, ‘Go! Leave Egypt!’” Exodus 12:31

At Home Ideas:

People Who Protect
Gather dress-up clothes for police officers, firefighters, and soldiers. Let your child dress up in these clothes of people who keep us safe. Remind them that God sometimes uses people to keep us safe, and discuss how different helpers protect them.

Play Dough Pyramids
Use play dough to create pyramids like the one’s God’s people would have seen before they left Egypt. Talk about how they left the land of the pyramids to travel a long way to a new land that God promised to them.
