November 25/26—We Thank God--Review

Building on Last Week: Your children will remember the Bible stories of thanksgiving and be reminded of their need to thank God for His goodness.

Story Scripture: Review of Lessons 10-12

Bible Verse: “I will give you thanks.” Psalm 35:18

At Home Ideas:

Napkin Holder
You will need: paper towel tube; crayons; scissors; napkins
Give your child a paper towel tube and decorate it with crayons. Cut 4-6 evenly spaced slits in the tube but do not separate. Help your child fold napkins in half and slip one into each slit. Set out tonight at your dinner table. Have each person say something they are thankful to God for when they take their napkin.

Thankful Booklets
You will need: plain paper; magazine pictures; scissors; glue sticks; stapler
Fold several pieces of paper in half and staple at the center to make a booklet. Write on the outside cover, [Name]’s Thankful Book. Have your child cut or tear pictures from magazines of things they are thankful for and glue them into their booklets. Write something on each page as your child dictates.
Take time to pray and thank God for our blessings.
