April 1/2 –Jesus Takes Time for Children
Building on Last Week: The New Testament is full of examples of Jesus’ kindness. This week we will see His love for children.
Story Scripture: Mark 10:13-14,16
Bible Verse: “I love the Lord.” Psalm 116:1
At Home Ideas:
Happy/Sad Face:
You can retell the story to your child and have them help you. Have your child draw a happy face on one side of a paper plate and a sad face on the other. You could attach a wooden craft stick or straw to the plate as a handle. When you tell the story have your child show which face is appropriate for that part of the story.
