Story Scripture: Exodus 16:1—17:7

Bible Verse: “The Lord sent manna from heaven.” Exodus 16

At Home Ideas:

Gather Manna
Spread a large, clean sheet or blanket on the floor and scatter popcorn on it. Let your child collect the “manna” as a treat. Remind them that God’s people had to gather the manna every day to eat.

Taste Test
You will need a variety of foods for your child to taste, i.e. sweet foods, salty foods, and sour foods.
Talk with your child about the wonderful variety of foods God has given us. Allow them to taste test different foods one at a time. What are their favorites? Least favorites? Remember to thank God for all foods!
