Preschool Food Drive
Did you know that right after Christmas, food donations generally decline? Let's help build up those food stores for the needy in our own community! We invite anyone from PRC to help us reach those in need.

No Child Left Behind
(Without at least 2 staff present)
In the early rush of dropping kids off and making it to our own Sunday School class, we need to remember that we cannot leave our child in a classroom unless there are at least two staff members present. This is especially important for those little ones who can whip up a disaster by themselves in ten seconds flat. If one parent simply must make it to another location right away, another parent can volunteer to stay with the child for the service or until the staff arrive so that we can allow that room to stay open. Please check at the preschool desk with either Melissa or Kjersti first.

Preschool Summer Program
Once again this summer, we will be showing a video series during the regularly scheduled story time. We will be using the "Boz, The Green Bear Next Door" series. Each video has a biblical story to enhance the video.
We will still have a craft, worship time, and provide a snack. We hope this will help facilitate vacation time for everyone. There will also be a Take-Home paper or equivalent every Sunday for you to use at home during the week with your child.
Rejoicing in Right Choices
The Rejoicing in Right Choices Preschool spring program was a great success!
31 kids participated
28 families participated
12 kids completed all three weeks and will be getting a letter and a special gift from the preschool team.

Rejoicing in Right Choices
Rejoicing in Right Choices is a 3-week focus on the development of Christian Character in preschool children and can be used as a tool to help parents become more intentional about promoting and assessing character qualities that are important for a child’s spiritual formation. Rejoicing in Right Choices centered on:
- Joyfulness
- Heart of Gratitude
- God-Centeredness
This project began on April 15, when each preschool child took home a chart with one of the character qualities and reward stickers. Every time a child demonstrated that character quality, the parent rewarded the behavior with one sticker for the child to put on the chart. When children have earned at least five stickers, they may turn in the chart on Sunday at the Preschool counter in the east foyer to get a prize out of our treasure box.
Children have until the end of May to fill out the charts and get a prize from the treasury box.

Preschool parents’ opinions matter!
Do you ever have an idea for improvement in your child’s Preschool classroom but do not have time to discuss it? New slotted boxes will soon be the answer. Each counter of the Preschool classrooms will be equipped with parent suggestion cards and special locked boxes to insert them.
