Kids' Prayers

God loves to hear from us, but some prayers are probably more entertaining than others.

This month's question: What is one of the funniest things your child has prayed?

"Dear Heavenly Father, please bless all the peoples and my fire engine bed." –- Jacob, age 3

"Lord Jesus, thanks for the food, help me score 5 goals in the first half of the game. Amen" – Tanner, age 7

"Dear God, please let me always play in the water puddle for ever and ever. Amen." --Bethany, age 3.

This is our three year old's prayer every day: "Dear Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross, and blessing this food in our bodies. Thank you for my birthday and all my presents." –Kenzie, age 3

"Dear God, please, please, please let Aunt Minda come to our house soon so we can get some doughnuts around here." --Tori, age 4

Nusery: Parenting Tip

Take a snuggle break when you get home from work. Set a timer for 10 to 15 minutes, then curl up with your child and read a book together or just listen to her talk about her day. That way, you'll both get some needed bonding time before you have to go make dinner.

Preschool Summer Program

Once again this summer, we will be showing a video series during the regularly scheduled story time. We will be using the "Boz, The Green Bear Next Door" series. Each video has a biblical story to enhance the video.

We will still have a craft, worship time, and provide a snack. We hope this will help facilitate vacation time for everyone. There will also be a Take-Home paper or equivalent every Sunday for you to use at home during the week with your child.

Rejoicing in Right Choices

The Rejoicing in Right Choices Preschool spring program was a great success!

31 kids participated
28 families participated
12 kids completed all three weeks and will be getting a letter and a special gift from the preschool team.

Way to go!
