Rejoicing in Right Choices

A 3-week focus on the development of Christian Character in your preschool child, Rejoicing in Right Choices is also a tool to help you as parents become more intentional about promoting and assessing character qualities that are important for a child's spiritual formation.

Centering on. . .
Joyfulness
Heart of Gratitude
God-Centeredness

Each week, starting April 15, a chart with one of the character qualities and stickers will come home with your child. Every time your child demonstrates that character quality, they should put one sticker on the chart. When they have earned at least five stickers, they can turn the chart in to get a prize out of our treasure box.

What did the two of you experience when you baptized her? We want to know! Just click below and send a letter to us and we may include it in our next newsletter. Kids Clubhouse Happenings

Clubhouse kids serve lunch to the homeless!

On March 25 the Clubhouse Kids learned that Jesus shocked his disciples by washing their feet because that was something only a servant did for others. They had a chance to serve others by making 200 sack lunches for the homeless shelter. Third and fourth graders made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, 2nd graders put the sandwiches in zip lock bags, and also put a cookie in a zip lock bag. 5K’s and 1st graders colored messages like, "Jesus loves you and I do, too" and packed the sandwiches, chips, cookie and Capri Sun into the lunch sacks. The bags were taken to the shelter where the people at the desk were thrilled. "We didn't know what we were going to do for dinner tonight”, they said, “and now we have it!" Way to be the hands and feet of Jesus, kids!

Bible Verse: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45
